These two pieces attempt to frame the adaptability and dynamism as well as the silence of an expanse. The salt lakes in Western Australiaare mercurial, changing shape and colour as the micro-organisms within adapt to seasonal conditions and even to variations in light over the course of just one day.Viewing these lakes from the clouds creates a sense of wonderment and ephemeral beauty. The stillness of the images is composed with the sound of silence and contemplating their vastness is intrinsically calming.
